Event Learning Objectives

  • Participants will have a clear vision and dialogue skills to assess the pace of learning new skills for every diverse couple and their needs
  • Participants will learn how to direct their facilitation toward the potential and possibility of empathic connection that is inherent in every couple, rather than deepening an exploration of reactive affect
  • Participants will learn the essential sentence stems that help couples stay open and curious during the their power struggle reactions
  • Participants will deepen their understanding and ability to work from a totally relational stance, staying neutral, in the moment and connected to whatever is happening with a couple
  • Participants will review the 5 biggest errors that can easily occur with challenging couples, how to recognize them and alternative clinical interventions
  • Participants will learn and discover ever deeper flexibility and depth in the Imago Dialogue process
