Acceptable Michigan Continuing Education (CE) as outlined by DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING AND REGULATORY AFFAIRS (LARA) DIRECTOR'S OFFICE SOCIAL WORK - GENERAL RULES:
1. Attendance at a continuing education program related to the practice of social work approved or offered by any of the following: The ASWB, The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) & A state chapter of the NASW.
2. Attendance at a continuing education program that has been granted approval by another state board of social work.

Event Learning Objectives
- Participants will have a clear vision and dialogue skills to assess the pace of learning new skills for every diverse couple and their needs
- Participants will learn how to direct their facilitation toward the potential and possibility of empathic connection that is inherent in every couple, rather than deepening an exploration of reactive affect
- Participants will learn the essential sentence stems that help couples stay open and curious during the their power struggle reactions
- Participants will deepen their understand and ability to work from a totally relational stance, staying neutral, in the moment and connected to whatever is happening with a couple
- Participants will review the 5 biggest errors that can easily occur with challenging couples, how to recognize them and alternative clinical interventions
- Participants will learn and discover ever deeper flexibility and depth in the Imago Dialogue process.
